What Is RX Rehab Like?
RX rehab, including treatment for prescription opioids, can often be a multi-phase approach based on the exact needs of the individual substance abuse client. Each of our addiction treatments is customized based on our assessment of each patient, their history of substance abuse, if they’ve been in any other treatment programs, their overall health, and how long they have been abusing drugs or alcohol. Depending on all of these factors regarding the individual and their substance use disorders, counseling, or sometimes psychotherapy, is typically a key part of treatment. Treatment may also require withdrawal (drug detox), addiction medication, and addiction recovery aftercare support.
Over half of the millions of Americans who struggle with addiction also have a dual diagnosis. What this means is that they have a cooccurring mental disorder, like an eating disorder or depression, in addition to an addiction. This is important to note because treatment for a dual diagnosis needs to be handled in a specific way in order to make sure there is no negative impact on one issue or the other, due to the types of treatments employed. Our highly trained staff that are part of our outpatient programs and residential treatment levels of care are always made aware of the specialized needs of a patient who has a dual diagnosis.
What To Expect During RX Rehab
What someone struggling with substance abuse can expect as part of an RX rehab or prescription opioid rehab program differs from client to client. One of the biggest benefits of working with DayBreak Treatment Solutions is that each of our levels of care, from residential treatment to outpatient rehab to specialized programs like an Intensive Outpatient Program, are all very flexible and are personalized for each client. Alcohol and drug rehab is a very personal thing to go through in life and the solutions we offer our substance abuse treatment clients are not one size fits all.
Some clients who take part in our addiction recovery program begin with drug detox, but not everyone begins their journey this way. If you do take part in our prescription opioid detox treatment, you may take advantage of our Medication Assisted Program, or MAT, which will help with withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and offer you support as you begin your recovery. Your next step can be a residential treatment or outpatient rehab program. Both of these will involve behavioral health therapy, relapse prevention education, and options like family therapy.
How Long Does RX Rehab West Palm Beach Florida?
When someone is addicted to alcohol, prescription opioids, or any other substance, it’s hard to put a timer on how long their addiction recovery treatment will last before they are ready to reenter society and go on their own without support of regular therapy. Anyone who has sat in aftercare recovery meetings knows that each person who has struggled with substance abuse has their own individual story about how their meth addiction, heroin addiction, or addiction to prescription opioids affected their life and the lives of their loved ones. In corollary, each person’s path in addiction recovery is their own.
There are some parts of drug or alcohol treatment that have some typical time frames, but again, these are flexible and not set in stone. For example, residential treatment usually lasts 30, 60, or 90 days, but there are other options. Inpatient treatment at a drug detox center may last a few days to a couple of weeks, spending on the exact substance and the treatment protocol. Outpatient rehab on the other hand has no set expiration date and can last as long as the client needs in order to feel comfortable on their own.
