Alumni Testimonials

Daybreak changed my life. The staff – from the nurses, therapists, managers, and most importantly – the on-site techs, were all extremely helpful in our recovery. Everything you need is available from detox all the way through residential treatment. (I did not participate in any further treatment options). If you or someone you love really wants the help, this is a great place to find it. This is definitely something that you take out what you put in, and if you participate in the groups, the therapy, and take advantage of the help that they willingly offer – you can make change here. Thanks to the Daybreak family, I am 101 days into a powerful new life.

Daybreak has been extremely beneficial in my recovery process. The staff, many of whom are in recovery themselves, have shown me repeatedly that they genuinely care about me and all the other clients here. This fact, combined with their knowledge on the recovery process, has benefited me more than any other treatment center in the past. My counselor, Holly, has been especially helpful to me. I would absolutely recommend Daybreak to a friend or anyone struggling with addiction.

I cannot say enough about this place! Daybreak saved my life! From the minute I walked in the door I was treated with respect, dignity, and a compassion I had never experienced in any of the many other treatment facilities I had been to. What made the difference for me was the staff. The people who worked there truly cared about me and my recovery. There honestly was never a moment that I felt alone and the fact that many of the staff are in recovery themselves meant they truly understood what I was going through at my most vulnerable. Knowing these people were so invested in saving me from myself, were always there if I needed to talk, and that they honestly cared about me and my recovery undoubtedly made all the difference for me. Daybreak also maintains a family atmosphere in such beautiful facilities and makes sure that your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs are being met. I’ve never had such an amazing experience in treatment before. If you or a loved one is suffering please let Daybreak give you the opportunity to get your life back. Keri P.

What Is Inpatient Rehab?

Inpatient treatments as part of a rehab program are one of the levels of care we offer at DayBreak Treatment Solutions.  Residential treatment programs are levels of care that involve a patient staying in an addiction facility 24 hours a day for a certain period of time.  Inpatient alcohol or drug rehab is typically 30, 60, or 90 days, but can last longer or be a customized period of time.  At DayBreak, each treatment plan developed for alcohol and drug rehab is personalized based on the exact needs of the client.  Inpatient substance abuse rehab can be the first phase of a person’s addiction recovery treatment or it could be part of a multi-phase plan involving alcohol detox, sober living, and other levels of care.

What Is Inpatient Drug Rehab Like?

Inpatient drug rehab recovery programs are built around a structured daily schedule, which is a component that helps people beginning their recovery get into a good routine. Inpatient treatments can include behavioral therapy, group counseling sessions, individual personalized treatments with a primary counselor, and drug specific treatment plans.  Inpatient drug and alcohol rehab also help people establish a relapse prevention plan which can help them on tough days during recovery.  Substance use disorders can be complicated, and by working with the top notch professionals at DayBreak you can learn the coping and life skills you need to move forward on a different path.

What To Expect During Residential Rehab

Before you begin residential treatment for any substance use disorders, we will go over the details of inpatient rehab and any other levels of care you or one of your loved ones may be interested in at DayBreak.  We will go over administrative items like the types of insurance accepted for our treatment programs, your accommodations during residential treatment, and any health issues you may have that we should know about before you start. Each day we will go over the schedule of your personalized treatments.  You will also regularly meet with your primary therapist to ensure the behavioral therapy and any other parts of your treatment program are working the way we expect.  The treatment plan you begin inpatient drug rehab with will often be modified as you progress through your time with us.

When you are not taking part in substance abuse therapy or counseling, you can use your free time to exercise, meditate, enjoy a meal, or rest as part of your residential treatment. You can also take advantage of optional therapies including family therapy sessions, which are a good way to incorporate your loved ones into your addiction recovery.  Aftercare options for once you have completed residential treatment are also reviewed, which can be an important part of recovery.

How Long Does Inpatient Rehab in West Palm Beach Last?

Most inpatient treatment approaches include various lengths of stay.  A lot of people take part in 30-day treatment programs, and there are also 60 and 90 day options, too. Many experts agree that the longer a person stays in residential treatment, the more successful they will be in recovery.  However, it’s hard for a lot of people to commit to longer than 30 days without negatively impacting their loved ones or other responsibilities. At DayBreak we offer personalized treatment plans that we develop for each patient in order for them to get the maximum benefit out of drug rehab without adding stress to their life in general.

30 Day Rehab

30 day inpatient rehab is often considered the standard length for drug or alcohol treatment.  A month-long stay at a drug rehab facility can definitely get you started in the right direction and focused on staying clean and sober. During a 30 day inpatient rehab program, you will take part in group sessions, individual therapy, and other educational activities. There are scheduled meal times, and plenty of free hours to take part in other activities.  Inpatient treatment for substance use disorders is not a vacation, but it is an opportunity to step away from the stresses of normal life and start a new, healthier chapter in your life.

60 Day Rehab

A 60 day inpatient rehab program gives patients and counselors more time to explore the reasons why drugs or alcohol are in your life.  More sessions of behavioral therapy can be accomplished.  More in depth relapse prevention skills can be explored and learned.  60 day rehab is not for everyone.  Two months away from home can weigh on a person.  However, it can be an excellent way to explore all the ways drugs and alcohol have negatively affected your life and the lives of your loved ones and how to avoid that in the future.

90 Day Rehab

A 90 day rehab program is the longest standard length we offer at DayBreak.  We do work with each of our clients to ensure the treatment programs they take part in work for them.  This includes the different types of therapy offered, length of stay, incorporation of other levels of care like drug detox in Philadelphia, and in general offering a fully customized addiction treatment experience at our recovery center.
