What Is Alcohol Rehab Like?
Before you begin your West Palm Beach prescription dug rehab or alcohol rehab program, you will first meet with one of our addiction counselors that will gain an understanding of your history with alcohol abuse including how long you have been engaging in alcohol use, the amount you drink, and how often you drink alcohol within each week. It is important during this time for our team to know if you have any family history of alcohol addiction and if there are any cooccurring disorders that have been influencing your addictive behaviors. Once our addiction counselors have gained a better perspective on the severity of your alcohol abuse, our team will be better equipped to create an individualized treatment plan that is centered around your specific needs for healing and skill development that will ensure that you will have long lasting success in addiction recovery.
Patients will be able to choose from an inpatient rehab program or outpatient rehab program depending on the levels of care that you are looking for. Patients that choose an inpatient rehab program will reside within our recovery center for days that consist of individual and group therapy sessions that will support you in understanding the underlying causes of your alcohol addiction while also providing you an opportunity to remove yourself from the distractions of your home environment. Without any outside distractions, patients are able to fully focus on your healing process without worrying about any responsibilities or pressures from peers to engage in alcohol abuse. An inpatient rehab program provides the added benefit of connecting with other patients who understand the nature of addiction and early addiction recovery which allows you to create a new solid support system with others in addiction recovery. The bonds created within rehab will often last long after you complete alcohol treatment allowing you to have people you can turn to for support and friendship in recovery once you return home.

How Long Is Alcohol Rehab?
Your time in alcohol rehab will be dependent on your specific history with alcohol addiction and substance abuse. Each individual that is living in active drug or alcohol addiction has had their addiction develop and progress for their own unique circumstances often deriving from emotional pains or traumas in your past that you have attempted to self medicate with substance abuse. As the years of pushing down your emotions and traumas progressed, you have not given yourself time to fully address and heal from those crippling memories and emotions. In order to heal from your underlying causes of alcohol addiction, it is important that you give yourself the time you need to confront these buried emotions and traumas and learn the life skills and tools for living a happy, healthy life in addiction recovery, Patients will have the option of attending inpatient rehab for 30, 60, or 90 days to engage in your individualized treatment plan. If you complete a 30 or 60 day rehab program and feel as though you need more time to participate in the addiction recovery process, you are welcome to extend your stay with us for additional 30 day increments in order to provide you with the time that you need to overcome the emotional wounds of your past to begin paving a new road to recovery.
30 Day Rehab
Choosing a 30 day rehab program will allow West Palm Beach residents with an opportunity to take a break from your day to day routine that has fueled your alcohol addiction and allow you to fully focus on healing from your alcohol addiction through the intensive, whole person integrated approach to addiction recovery. Patients will be able to understand and identify the root causes of your alcohol addiction allowing you to gain perspective on potential triggers and stressors that will influence your addictive behaviors. Patients are often encouraged to participate in an outpatient rehab program once you have completed your residential treatment program to help keep you focused and on track for your addiction recovery.
60 Day Rehab
There may be some West Palm Beach residents that are searching for an addiction treatment program that is longer than a short term rehab program but are unable to commit to a fully 90 day rehab program. For those individuals you will be invited to participate in a 60 day rehab program which acts as an in between option for short and long term rehab. Patients will be able to continue to develop a vast amount of relapse prevention methods and life skills that will foster a healthy life in addiction recovery.
90 Day Rehab
West Palm Beach residents that are able to take the time to be within alcohol rehab for the longest period of time of 90 days are encouraged to stay for the full long term rehab stay to provide you with the opportunity to thoroughly explore the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that are linked to your addictive behaviors. After completing an inpatient rehab for 90 days, patients are able to feel confident in their ability to maintain a life of long term sobriety.
