Alumni Testimonials

Daybreak changed my life. The staff – from the nurses, therapists, managers, and most importantly – the on-site techs, were all extremely helpful in our recovery. Everything you need is available from detox all the way through residential treatment. (I did not participate in any further treatment options). If you or someone you love really wants the help, this is a great place to find it. This is definitely something that you take out what you put in, and if you participate in the groups, the therapy, and take advantage of the help that they willingly offer – you can make change here. Thanks to the Daybreak family, I am 101 days into a powerful new life.

Daybreak has been extremely beneficial in my recovery process. The staff, many of whom are in recovery themselves, have shown me repeatedly that they genuinely care about me and all the other clients here. This fact, combined with their knowledge on the recovery process, has benefited me more than any other treatment center in the past. My counselor, Holly, has been especially helpful to me. I would absolutely recommend Daybreak to a friend or anyone struggling with addiction.

I cannot say enough about this place! Daybreak saved my life! From the minute I walked in the door I was treated with respect, dignity, and a compassion I had never experienced in any of the many other treatment facilities I had been to. What made the difference for me was the staff. The people who worked there truly cared about me and my recovery. There honestly was never a moment that I felt alone and the fact that many of the staff are in recovery themselves meant they truly understood what I was going through at my most vulnerable. Knowing these people were so invested in saving me from myself, were always there if I needed to talk, and that they honestly cared about me and my recovery undoubtedly made all the difference for me. Daybreak also maintains a family atmosphere in such beautiful facilities and makes sure that your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs are being met. I’ve never had such an amazing experience in treatment before. If you or a loved one is suffering please let Daybreak give you the opportunity to get your life back.

Best Alcohol & Drug Rehab in Florida

DayBreak Treatment Solutions is a leading luxury rehab for substance use disorders treatments in the state. All substance abuse treatment centers are not alike. DayBreak features individualized treatment plans to ensure that each client receives the customized support they need to manage their condition or conditions if they are suffering from cooccurring mental disorders. We feature a team of dedicated clinicians who are addiction medicine specialists. Our therapists offer empathetic care backed by their expertise and experience. Clients need the best treatment to effectively manage their addictions. We offer the best treatment at DayBreak.

Clients who enroll in our alcohol and drug rehab will find that we offer medically sanctioned drug and alcohol treatments as well as holistic treatments. Medically sanctioned treatments are backed by a large body of research that denotes the effectiveness of the therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders. Alternative and holistic treatments have not been studied to the extent that evidence-based treatments have, but they show great promise in the way they enhance the recovery process.

If you are suffering from opioid addiction, alcohol addiction, or any other type of addiction, you can get the help you need at DayBreak Treatment Solutions. Addiction treatment provides clients with the foundation they need to build their new, clean and sober lives. When you enroll in our rehab for treatment, we’ll provide you with a behavioral health evaluation in order to recommend the ideal treatment plan for your needs.

Our Addiction Treatment Services Full Continuum of Care

DayBreak Treatment Solutions features a full continuum of care for clients who are suffering from substance use disorders as well as dual diagnosis. This means that we’re able to help clients no matter where they are in their recovery journey. Some clients require round-the-clock support. Others require weekly therapy sessions to help them transition back to their lives.

DayBreak’s addiction treatment programs include medical detox programs like heroin detox, inpatient rehab, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient program, and sober living. Within these program offerings, we’re able to offer individualized treatments that are tailored to each client’s needs. Not all drug and alcohol rehab centers offer such customized care, but we see the results daily and know that the support our clients receive gives them the tools they need to manage their addiction for the long term.

Many of DayBreak’s clients transition from one program to another as they gradually become more stable and begin the process of rebuilding their lives. Not all clients who enroll at DayBreak need medical detox or residential care, but for those who do, we offer them our full support. Our outpatient programs are also tailored to each client’s needs. Therapists work closely with each person to help them develop the strategies they’ll need to keep their triggers at bay and prevent relapse. At our treatment facility, clients can get whatever level of support they need to achieve their recovery goals.

Drug Detox

Many clients need drugs detox that targets their physical dependence on whatever drug or drugs they’re addicted to. Our detox center is staffed by doctors and nurse practitioners who monitor each person’s health and treat withdrawal symptoms as they arise. Each client experiences detox a bit differently. One client might experience withdrawal symptoms that are flu-like in nature. Another may struggle with insomnia or irritability. The withdrawal symptoms that a person experiences in drug detox largely depend on the addictive substance in question and their unique chemistry.

Detox programs generally last between three and seven days; however, some clients may need longer to complete the process, especially if they’ve been addicted for a long period of time. Our clinicians find that withdrawal symptoms often peak between 24 and 72 hours from the last time the person used. Our detox facilities are designed with comfort in mind. Doctors provide clients medications that can reduce the severity of their symptoms so that they can get the rest they need to spur the healing process.

Heroin detox or cocaine detox often differ because of the withdrawal symptoms that ensue, but the principle of each program is the same; detox allows the body to become clean from the substance of addiction. After completing their detox program, clients can move on to other therapies that target the psychological and behavioral elements of their condition. Medical detox only addresses the physical dependence, which is why it’s not enough to help clients manage their addictions

Drug Rehab

Clients can expect individualized treatment when they enroll at DayBreak’s drug rehab. Our rehab treatments are varied to include medically sanctioned and holistic treatments that target the different aspects of substance abuse disorders. Whether enrolled in inpatient treatment or outpatient rehab, clients will take part in one-on-one treatment sessions and group therapies.

During addiction therapy sessions, clients will learn about the disease they’re suffering from as well as what led them to abuse drugs. The reasons they use drugs are their triggers. Some people turned to drugs to alleviate their symptoms of depression or anxiety. Others struggle with a high-stress job. Understanding one’s triggers is vital for preventing relapse. Clients work closely with their therapist to develop strategies for managing these triggers effectively.

During drug abuse treatments and individual therapy sessions, clients will also get support to evaluate their thought patterns and behaviors which contribute deeply to their drug use. Challenging and changing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors takes time and practice, but all of these elements are connected and can provide the key to successful addiction recovery.

During our rehab programs, clients can expect to participate in therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, SMART recovery, 12 step principles, holistic therapy, music therapy, psychoeducational therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed therapy, and more. DayBreak features many amenities that complement our treatment programs. We feature salon services as well as a holistic spa. Whether enrolled residential therapy or an outpatient program, clients can expect empathetic care designed to help them reach their recovery goals.

Alcohol Detox

Alcohol detox is similar to other detox programs offered at DayBreak. The detox process allows the body to become clean from alcohol so that the individual is no longer physically dependent on the substance. Like drug detox, alcohol detox usually takes about a week to complete. Some people may take longer to complete the process, especially if they’ve been addicted to alcohol for a long time.

During medical detox, clients may experience withdrawal symptoms such as headache, irritability, depression, and nausea. Our clinicians will treat these symptoms to reduce their severity or even eliminate them. It’s extremely important for clients to detox in a safe, medical setting like our detox facilities. Withdrawal symptoms can become so intense that they can trigger health emergencies like heart irregularities or seizures. By treating the symptoms as they arise, our doctors are able to head off health complications.

Some people may experience a withdrawal phenomenon known as delirium tremens, which is associated with alcohol detox. The DTs, as they’re called, trigger a series of severe withdrawal symptoms that can include fever, chills, hallucinations, and seizures. We monitor our detox clients around the clock to ensure that we treat any symptoms that arise, keeping clients safe and as comfortable as possible during this early part of their recovery journey. After clients have completed their detox program, they can begin other treatments to address the mental and behavioral aspects of their condition.

Alcohol Rehab

During alcohol rehab therapy sessions, clients will take part in individual therapy sessions as well as group therapies whether enrolled in partial hospitalization programs, inpatient rehab, or outpatient treatments. Like drug addiction treatment, alcohol treatment is designed to help clients manage their addiction. Developing the skills to identify and manage their triggers to drink takes time and practice, but our various treatment modalities provide clients with the tools and resources they need to move their recovery forward.

Clients abused alcohol for different reasons. Some people grew up in households where alcohol abuse was commonplace. Others may have turned to alcohol to help them cope with their negative emotions or grief. It’s important for clients to recognize the unhealthy thoughts and behaviors that led them to abuse alcohol so that they can challenge them with strategies designed to maintain their sobriety.

During our alcohol rehab program, clients get the support they need to manage their condition, but recovery can go on for a long time after treatment ends. DayBreak’s treatment programs feature a strong relapse prevention component to help clients manage their addiction more easily when they’ve returned to their everyday lives. Our luxury rehab is a safe and supportive place. Often, the hardest challenges don’t begin until clients have completed their recovery programs. Our addiction treatment sets them up for success, helping them grow the coping skills they’ll need to weather the challenges and safeguard their recovery journey.

Inpatient Addiction Treatment

Inpatient treatment provides the most robust level of support for clients. At DayBreak, clients can expect 24-hour support in our safe setting. We feature semi-private rooms designed for clients’ comfort in mind. Inpatient addiction treatment is often ideal for people who are just beginning their addiction recovery journey. This is usually when clients need the highest level of support. They may be suffering from withdrawal symptoms or simply feel too unstable to spend any time at home where they may be tempted to use again.

Not all addiction treatment centers offer inpatient treatment, but 24-hour support is something that many people need when they’re struggling with a substance abuse disorder. Our drug rehab center offers residential programs to ensure that all clients get the level of care they need to recover. While many clients begin their addiction recovery journey in inpatient rehab, they often transition to less intensive outpatient programs in time.

When enrolled in inpatient therapy, our addiction specialists will individualize a treatment plan for each client. Some clients may need dual diagnosis treatment. A dual diagnosis reflects the presence of a substance abuse disorder like meth addiction as well as a cooccurring disorder like depression or post-traumatic stress syndrome. Some clients may choose to participate in family therapy while others do not. So, treatment plans look different for each residential client depending on their unique needs and treatment preferences.

Residential Drug Rehab

Is residential drug rehab right for you? Residential alcohol and drug rehab is the best option for many people struggling with a powerful addiction. DayBreak’s treatment facility features inpatient treatment programs as well as detox facilities and outpatient programs. Many clients choose residential treatment because it provides them with the time and space they need to focus completely on their therapy and recovery. That’s not always possible when clients continue to reside at home where they may face a toxic environment or feel vulnerable to their triggers to use drugs.

Our treatment facility gives clients the space they need to start their healing journey. It’s free from temptations and provides them with 24-hour support if they need it. Our inpatient addiction programs are highly structured with medically sanctioned and holistic treatments. If you feel unstable, lack an unsupportive home environment, or simply want to immerse yourself in your drug treatment and recovery process, residential rehab might be the best course for you.

Residential Alcohol Rehab

Alcohol is widely available, which makes it all too tempting for someone who is just beginning their addiction treatment. That’s why many people suffering from an alcohol use disorder choose to start therapy in an inpatient setting. Removing oneself from their everyday stressors and habitual triggers to drink is a step in a positive direction. DayBreak offers residential alcohol treatment programs for clients who need the inpatient treatment model and can benefit from our 24-hour support.

Luxury rehabs like DayBreak feature comfortable rooms and amenities that create a retreat-like atmosphere where clients can focus on their therapies without distractions. That’s important because some distractions can trigger clients to relapse before they’ve developed the strategies needed to prevent it. Not all clients choose inpatient treatment; outpatient treatment can also be effective. But the idea is to choose a level of treatment that’s ideal for you at the stage of recovery you’re in. During our onboarding process, our staff can help you choose the best treatment model for your needs.

Prescription Drug Rehab

Prescription drugs are highly addictive and overcoming an Oxycontin addiction or another opioid addiction can be extremely difficult. Opioids, benzodiazepines, stimulants–there are many types of drugs that play an important role in health treatments, but also have a dark side in their addictive properties. Some people develop a dependence and then addiction in prescription drugs after being prescribed them for medical reasons. Others may abuse them recreationally for their various effects. However, abuse of these drugs can lead to a serious addiction problem.

DayBreak treats clients who are addicted to prescription drugs like opioids. In some cases, clients may require medication-assisted treatment, which we are able to provide along with other addiction treatments designed to help them manage their condition. We’ve helped clients from all over the state, including Pompano Beach, Fort Myers, Miami, Lake Worth, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, with our detox programs and prescription drug rehab.

Addiction to prescription drugs is every bit the chronic condition that alcohol addiction or street drug addiction is. Abuse of the substance can lead to a chemical dependence, but addiction develops when the individual not only experiences physical dependence but also psychological and behavioral dependencies too. Drug addiction’s mind and body effects underscore its complexity. That’s why it’s important for clients to seek medically sanctioned treatment at a well-respected prescription drug rehab like DayBreak Treatment Solutions.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Inpatient treatment is the best route for some clients, but not all. Many people are unwilling to ‘live’ at a drug rehab even for a few weeks. They may have family obligations that they are committed to maintaining. They may have a supportive home life and feel stable enough to stick to their treatment plan and recovery goals. In these cases, outpatient addiction treatment may be the ideal course for them. DayBreak features outpatient programs that include partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs for people addicted to alcohol or drugs.

Some outpatient programs offer a greater degree of support than others; at DayBreak, our goal is to cover the full continuum of care. That’s why we feature more and less intensive treatment options. As clients recover and become more empowered to manage their addiction on their own, they require less support as treatment continues–typically. Sometimes clients will return after a relapse and realize the necessity for more treatment. We’re able to provide the level of support that each client needs to recover.

Outpatient rehab is a good treatment option for clients who want to continue to work, attend school, or care for their family. It’s also part of the treatment progressions for many clients who transition from residential treatment programs. During outpatient therapy sessions, clients will continue to develop strategies for managing their condition and preventing relapse. Therapy is extremely helpful as clients transition back to their jobs and homes; as issues arise, they’re able to work through them with their therapist and keep their recovery plan on track.

IOP Rehab

Intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment is a treatment program offered at DayBreak. Clients enrolled in an alcohol or drug IOP can expect to meet at our rehab for several weeks of addiction treatment–either during the day or in the evenings. In the beginning of their treatment, clients will meet five days a week for treatment, but as they progress through their program, they’ll reduce their visits to three days each week. During IOP rehab, we help clients transition back to their lives with the skills they need to cope with their triggers and maintain their recovery journey.

Clients who are enrolled in DayBreak’s IOP will take part in both individual treatment sessions and group therapy sessions. These sessions cover a wide range of treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and relapse prevention. Some clients may be enrolled in treatments that others aren’t; not all clients, for instance, require family therapy or medication-assisted treatments.

Part of our IOP therapy is to discuss plans for aftercare. It’s important for clients to attend some aftercare programming to provide continued support–at least for a period of time. After leaving formal rehab treatment, continued attendance at a weekly 12 step program or some other type of recovery maintenance program can provide support should clients need it going forward. Clients also learn how to spot early signs of pending relapse so they can reach out for help and stop themselves from relapsing before they drink or use drugs again.

PHP Rehab

DayBreak offers partial hospitalization programs for drug and alcohol addiction. Partial hospitalization offers a greater degree of support than intensive outpatient programs, but not overnight support like a residential program. DayBreak’s PHP plans run between three and five weeks. Clients meet six days a week for the duration of the program for day-long therapy. They’re able to return home after treatment.

Highly intensive, PHP treatment programs are ideal for clients who need a high degree of support but are stable enough to reside at their homes. Ideally, these individuals have a supportive home and feel capable of avoiding drugs or alcohol when they’re away from rehab. As with our inpatient treatment, clients can expect individualized therapy sessions, one-on-one treatment, and peer group therapy that covers a wide range of treatment modalities.

Our PHP program is highly structured to help clients build a new life structure that supports their sobriety. We do build breaks into the day so that clients can have time to relax between treatment sessions. Upon completing a partial hospitalization program, clients often choose to transition to outpatient therapy, which is less intensive as it meets less often. If you think a PHP program is right for you, consult with DayBreak’s addiction specialists. We cover the full continuum of care when it comes to addiction; we can help you find the ideal level of support you need to reach recovery.

Sober Living & Aftercare

Completing treatment and returning home can be an abrupt change of pace. That’s why DayBreak features sober living facilities with aftercare programming for clients who complete treatment but don’t yet want to return home. Our sober living community is a drug and alcohol-free setting. In fact, many clients enrolled in our PHP and intensive outpatient programs also opt to reside at our sober living facilities rather than enroll in inpatient treatment. We’re pleased to offer clients many different options for treatment and housing to make it as convenient as possible for them to get the help they need.

When living in a sober living facility, clients will share the space with other clients who are recovering from addiction. Having a supportive home environment can be extremely helpful to clients who may still feel unready to return back to their everyday world on their own.

Aftercare plays a strong role in our sober living community. We encourage clients to continue to actively maintain their recovery journey by attending alumni support groups, 12 step groups, or holistic therapies that support long-term recovery. There isn’t a cure for addiction; it requires ongoing maintenance. Although managing addiction tends to get easier, that first recovery year is often challenging. Aftercare provides the ongoing support that clients can rely on as they transition back to independent living.

Alumni Support

Alumni support provides clients who have completed intensive therapy with aftercare support. These groups are ideal for alumni clients to meet together to discuss issues related to their recovery journey and life as a sober individual–its challenges and lessons. Support groups give people the opportunity to share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Participants are able to learn from one another, and many form lasting friendships that complement their continued recovery.

DayBreak facilitates aftercare programs for clients and for residents of our sober living community. Sometimes guest speakers are invited to support group meetings. Sometimes alumni groups plan local adventures like hiking trips or beach days. It’s important for people in recovery to fill their time with healthy activities. Alumni support helps them to do just that.

As clients get closer to completing their addiction treatment program, we take time to discuss the different aftercare programs we offer as well as others available in different communities where clients live. Relapse prevention is a top concern for clients; participating in alumni support groups and other aftercare programs can help them maintain their recovery long after they complete their PHP or IOP programs.
